Red Oak’s community sponsors support vital programs that provide hope and healing to kids and families. Through our annual Where Loves Grows fundraising gala, providing back to school supplies, participating in our holiday events and more – our sponsors help drive our mission year after year.
How We Offer Year-Round Support
Back-to-School
Our Back to School efforts supply our clients with the essentials they need to start a new school year. Red Oak provides backpacks and school supplies for our clients most in need. Referrals are made by Red Oak therapists and case managers in the field who have been working with their clients throughout the summer months which allow them to identify their most in-need clients.
Thanksgiving Meals
Red Oak provides hundreds of meals each year to those in our care who lack the resources to afford a holiday meal without our support. Staff identify some of our highest-need clients and families to receive a Thanksgiving Meal from the agency. The meal includes a turkey and all the fixings for the family to share together. This project is fully funded by the community.
Holiday Giving Tree
The Holiday Giving Tree partners community members with children in Red Oak’s care to provide gifts during the holiday season. Each donor receives a wish list from a child we serve and then has the opportunity to shop and wrap. Through this partnership, Red Oak is able to provide over 100 children with gifts during the holiday season.
